Privacy Protocol

Data Integrity & Human Safety

Our mission is reunification through transparency. We protect those who report while prioritizing the recovery of the vulnerable.

Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you submit a missing person report or a sighting tip. This includes names, physical descriptions, photographs, and contact information. We also collect metadata associated with your submissions to ensure the integrity of the registry.

How Tips are Handled

All tips submitted are encrypted and transmitted directly to our investigative coordination desk. Tips are reviewed by verified investigators before being linked to active cases. Your identity as a reporter is kept confidential and only shared with law enforcement when required for the safety of the missing person.

Location Usage

Our platform uses location data to provide real-time alerts for missing persons in your immediate vicinity. Location information is used solely for the purpose of matching reports with geographic search areas and is never sold or used for advertising.

How Alerts Work

Level 1 alerts are broadcast to users within a specific radius of a last-seen location. These alerts contain essential identification details to aid in the safe recovery of the subject. You can manage your alert preferences in the application settings.

Permissions Justification

LocationUsed to send nearby missing person alerts and verify sighting coordinates.
CameraUsed to capture and upload real-time sighting evidence of missing individuals.

Moderation & Enforcement

Our platform features user-generated content in the form of sightings and reports. To ensure platform integrity and accountability, every missing person case submitted by the community undergoes a mandatory manual verification process. Cases remain hidden from the public registry until an investigator explicitly verifies the reporter's contact details and approves the submission. Malicious reports, harassment, or abuse of the registry will result in a permanent ban and referral to the appropriate authorities.
